So, Jack’s 40th birthday was cancelled because of work…So, when he made Sgt. I had ONE week of knowing his days off to throw him a party. I had lotts of help from his friends and mine and it ended up tonns of fun! THANKS TERRY, TOM, KATHY AND LINDA!!!!!!!
A funny thing happened, we got him a cake from Cost-co and they spelled Sergeant wrong on the cake, ARGH..on a Saturday, there was no time to fix it. It will be a running joke for a while Im sure.
By the way….I found out my new camera is broken, so thats is why these pics are horrible!!

I have 2 friends who have been helping me with that little surprise I have coming up, and since everyone loves Eni’s Mosaic pendant, I made these for them last night. I will just simply string them on a leather cord and finish them with one of my swirly clasps. I really enjoy making them, and I hope they enjoy wearing them!!

Well, I made this as a practice piece in copper, but I had originally wanted to make one in silver with a bail for myself, but time is running out and the silver one will have to wait until next weeks post.
I used Copper wire, several different shapes and shades of carnelian, garnet, hill tribe silver, and Swarovski crystals.
Well, at least my journal is up and running just in time!!!! (Thanks Heather)

I am starting a journal for a couple reasons. Primarily, because I am participating in a Wire Jewelry Challenge to design one piece of jewelry per week. This challenge is divided into seasons and you can read more about it here…..
The first season “Earth” has started and my first piece is due Sept 27 with the first weeks theme Season of the Earth. I have a few ideas and I am very excited to get started!!
