Last day of 2007!

Posted by: Carole —

I cannot believe it it is here, the last day of 2007. This is the year I found Etsy, which boosted my sales and my creativity.
It is an amazing place, full of talented artists and crafters, and you have to keep on your toes, to keep up with the competition.

Pop on over, even if you have enough of MY jewelry, I encourage you to browse through the pages and pages of handmade items, you will thank me, or curse me, later!

Speaking of My Jewelry, to celebrate the New Year, I am having a 15% off sale now.

I hope your New Year is Happy and Healthy!

Please do not forget what happened…and those that are still not home.

Posted by: Carole —

6 years ago minus one week, my daughter was born.

I remember that morning, my mother was visiting from Tennessee, and Megan, Jack and myself were all snug and safe in our bed, together, resting after our first week with a newborn……Megan was one week old that day.

My Mother heard Megan wake, it was just after 9:00 am, and yelled up for us to turn on the television, I still do not know how she was able to watch what was happening to our country, without waking us.

It was just heart wrenching. As these assailants just took over attention…our hearts, our people.

The air was silent as my first baby nursed, and I thanked the lord she did not know what was going on in this world I had just brought her into. Oh my, are we going to see tomorrow???

Whom ever you support and however you fell about this war, we all have to agree the sons, daughters, mothers, and fathers who are not home today, with their family, need our thoughts and prayers.
Please say one for someone tonight, and never ever forget how you felt that day.

I cannot believe she is 6 already!! You are growing up way too fast!

Today has been a busy day, besides it being my daughters birthday, it was my sons first day of pre-school.
